Miserable man that I am! Who will rescue me from the body undergoing this death?—Rom. 7:24.

Happily, God arranged a way for us to be rescued, or freed from sin. Jesus is the key to that liberation. In the eighth century before our Common Era, the prophet Isaiah foretold a future grand liberation. That grand liberation would accomplish far more than did the liberation during Israel’s Jubilee year. He wrote: “The spirit of the Sovereign Lord Jehovah is upon me, because Jehovah anointed me to declare good news to the meek. He sent me to bind up the brokenhearted, to proclaim liberty to the captives.” (Isa. 61:1) To whom does that prophecy apply? That important prophecy about liberation began to be fulfilled after Jesus started his ministry. When he went to the synagogue in his hometown of Nazareth, Jesus read those very words of Isaiah to the Jews assembled there and applied them to himself.—Luke 4:16-19. w19.12 9-10 ¶6-8

You can't walk with God while holding hands with the Devil.

We are all slaves to sin and everything that goes along with it , old age, sickness and death.

We can get disheartened when we sin but we have to reconcile with god and move on as its not unexpected that we will , through Jesus we are offered liberation from our sinful state

Paul said we are led captive to sin so its an ongoing effort a 'work in progress' to avoid sinning..

We are slaves to sin therefore we grow old & die. We are inclined to make mistakes, hence Paul refered to himself as a “Miserable man”. Throughout his ministry Jesus provided liberation to those in spiritual darkness & in sin. We too enjoy being liberated from false beliefs while awaiting for our Grand liberation of physical perfection & spiritual health.

An indication that God loved us first!!

Just as Paul felt miserable knowing he was a sinner, I too hate being an imperfect  sinner. No doubt, many of us who have physical, mental  or emotional disabilities are sick and tired of having this wall we cannot get past. It holds us back from being all that we can be.  What a glorious good news that we have a promise to be freed from this captivity.

The one showing favor to the lowly is lending to Jehovah
